I'm an upcoming Senior at Burbank High School with big entrepreneurial dreams and a dedication to those around me like no other.  As a future first-gen college student, I've realized the application process can be more challenging, and lonely,  than it needs to be. We hear that high school is meant to prepare us for the real world, but it truly only prepares students for universities, and very little if that. However, I’ve grown up seeing the many promising paths that life has to bring regardless of a college degree. I believe that life can be full of surprises, both promising and unwarranted, which is why I’m working with my friend Daniel to create a support group for every BHS student so that we can prepare together.
